Keep a browser result connected to its task.
The problem
A screenshot without a task, action or page identity is difficult to interpret later. Browser exploration can otherwise become detached from the agent’s report.
An explanatory exhibit
From a page to a useful handoff
An invented documentation task explains the evidence chain. No logged-in browser material is shown.
- 01
Owned page
Session A opens documentation
- 02
Captured step
Action and visible result are labeled
- 03
Handoff

Inspect the consequence
Image without context
Hard to assess later
The reviewer may not know which action or task the image records.
Image with its handoff
A traceable observation
Page ownership, the action and a labeled result make the evidence easier to inspect.
What this makes possible
I connected session-owned browser pages with repeatable capture and handoff practices, so visual evidence can return to the work that produced it.

Evidence, implementation & history Implementation inspected
What I checked
Current bridge and capture source inspected. Earlier GIF experiments are not evidence of a current export feature.
Research cut: 14 October 2026. Source areas below are from metaclaude and metacodex. Private conversation references are retained in the research ledger and are not published here.
Implementation decisions
The browser bridge associates a page with its session. Capture workflows then turn selected states and flows into human-reviewable artifacts, with context in the resulting handoff.
This joins the current tab bridge and screenshot-to-PDF workflow. Earlier experiments with GIF exports are a separate historical thread and are not presented as a current capability here.
A path through the feature
- Keep the page associated with the task
Work in a tab that the relevant session owns and can identify.
- Return evidence with context
Include the action, visible result and artifact reference in the handoff. A reviewer should be able to tell what was inspected.

The small explanatory exhibit uses invented records to describe the mechanism. Separate recordings and working examples carry their own evidence notes.
Recorded history
Dates describe the researched record, rather than today’s deployment.
